In the first half of 2010 Toyota scheduled the release of several models in Europe.
But in response to recent events, Toyota postponed the release if not fully satisfied with the quality and level of security. The list of these models include Auris, HSD Auris and RAV4 - they will be subjected to strict quality control. New stricter rules for quality control were introduced because of recent reviews (jamming the gas pedal).

Four doors Sofia is based on "bezdvernogo" concept convertible Era, which was presented at the same show last year. Toyota introduced at the Geneva autoexhibition new Auris HSD, a hybrid hatchback designed for the UK.

General Motors stated that their sales worldwide fell by 10.8 percent in 2008, thus ending their 77-year hegemony in the global automotive market.
